Halo Infinite: New Weapon feature for the first time in the history of the Halo series

Today's Thursday, the starting signal for the first "Technical Test" of the EGO Shooter Halo Infinite, where the participants can compete, among other things in the Bot Arena. Shortly before, the responsible developer studio 343 industries had a first more accurate view of the multiplayer games, and presented a feature that was previously in any other halo game in this form.

During the stream, among other things, the options of the PC version were to be sacrificed. It was not just about the settings for the graphics, but also for the control. There, there was the possibility to assign a concrete key to the "Drop Weapon" action. Accordingly, it will be possible in Halo Infinite (now buying) to settle your current weapon and thus hand over a teammate. That was also possible in previous Halo play - but only about detours. To this end, you first have to find another weapon that lies on the floor to help you with the currently created. This will continue to be much easier for Halo Infinite in the future - and thus certainly open new tactical possibilities. The producer Sam Hanshaw said during the stream:

_ "It's very fun in the application - especially if you are working with less experienced players. You can pick up some missiles and pass them away. You can then play around with a mighty weapon, which you would not normally get into your fingers. _

The current "Technical Test" of Halo Infinite takes place from 29 July to 1 August 2021 and is limited to relatively few participants. However, other test phases should follow with significantly more players.
