Zelda: Fan masters "Snake mode" after 8 months
A fan is The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the wild way too easy. He is looking for a new challenge by transforming the game to the world's longest snake match. After 8 months he mastered it now.
Zelda: Breath of the game in Snake mode mastered
After 8 months and over 70 hours of playing, the streamer and Zelda fan Everest Pipkin finally made it. He has mastered The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the game under seemingly impossible conditions. The challenge named "Traveling Swordsman Problem" is basically the longest part of Snake of all time .
As in the retro classic on the Nokia mobile phone Link on his travels through Hyrule leaves a line behind, which may not be exceeded afterwards. Pipkin uses the Hero Path (Hero's Path) to display this line. But that's not all: the hero trail ignores all height differences. Even if link is on the roof of a house, he may not cross the path on the ground floor later. Pipkin had to plan every step exactly to successfully complete the challenge.
On the Youtube channel of Everest Pipkin you can watch the complete Run. Alternatively, you will find here the Final with the storming of Castle Hyrule :
Ultimate Zelda-Challenge is brutally difficult
Despite the many restrictions, Pipkin has made, not directly marching to Ganon, but instead to unlock all towers. At the same time, the ambitious fan in an emergency could not simply load an old score , as these alternative paths are also noted on the map.
Ultimately, 6 restarts were needed to complete the challenge. However, Pipkin left the last boss fight against Ganon, since movements during intermediate sequence are also displayed on the map, whereby the challenge had automatically failed. From the minute 3:10:00 In the final video you can watch the replay where the gigantic snake moves through Hyrule without a single time to cross a path already.
