Cyberpunk developer of 2077 have thought about VR, but feel not really sustainable
CDPR tried to run the RPG in VR, but does not feel that there is a lot of money in it.
It is always exciting to examine the potential candidates for games that could work very well in virtual reality, and due to the nature of VR are games that are played from the perspective of the first person, those to whom we in this Relationship most common. It is difficult to imagine that this year comes out a larger ego game than that from CD project Red cyBerpunk 2077 - but the Polish studio does not really see VR as a viable option for the Open World Roleplay.
John Mamais, head of the CDPR studio in Krakow, recently talked in an interview with OnMSFT over VR and about whether the studio would consider add to the coming role-playing game. According to Mamais, CDPR has tried this option tried, since VR is experimental and niche-oriented, but they ultimately did not pursue them.
We tried it, Mamais said. We thought about VR, but yes, we do nothing with VR.
Some things would work in VR, but I think it's not really feasible yet, he added. You do not earn much money in VR. It is very experimental and niche, yes. I would like to. I like VR, but we do not do anything left.
