The Swedish company Embracer Group has completed the acquisition of the following eight developer studios: Easy Trigger, 3D Realms, Slipgate Ironworks, Force Field, Ghost Ship Games, Grimfrost, Crazylabs, and Digixart.

Easy Trigger will continue working at his action platform Huntdown and connect Coffee Stain to promote the development of First Party IPs within the Group.

The Ghost Ship Games known for the Koop Ego Shooter Deep Rock Galactic remains independent as well as DigiXART, but in the future of Embracer and Coffee Stain is supported in new projects.

The former Duke Nukem-Studio 3D Realms will work with Saber Interactive at six new titles. CEO Mike Nielsen must take his hat and is replaced by Frederik Schreiber.

Slipgate now belongs to Saber Interactive and was acquired mainly due to its proven expertise in development, co-development and porting.

Overall, the EMBRACER Group should have cost the new acquisitions approximately 2.7 billion euros.
