Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines 2 was almost canceled at the beginning of this year, so it says paradox
There are titles with very conflicting developments, as happened with Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodlines 2, the sequel to the RPG released in 2004. After several delays, and soon after, the total withdrawal of its creators, one would think that the game would be Canceled , and Paradox Interactive thought the same thing, because the project was about to disappear.
We think if we should cancel the project, or move on. Fredrik Wester Fredrik Wester , CEO of Paradox, admitted the decision he almost took, in a recent interview. When we say goodbye to the original developer, we think if we had to cancel the project, or move on.
According to Wester, Paradox was ready to stop production completely, but with that clearly visible horizon, the team was convinced to continue, hiring a new team , which Wester describes as accreditabe and talented .
We still do not know the new study by Bloodlines 2, but Wester confirmed, that this team has already released several titles, and Paradox is confident that the final product will be good, and worthy of the expectations of the people.
Paradox thanked the work Hardsuit Labs , the original developers, did while the Alliance lasted. However, Wester looks clearly quieter with the changes that, no matter how sudden they were, had to be done.
