Ni antic has announced the so-called Ni antic ID in an official blog post on the in-house website, which will allow players to bundle all your own accounts of Ni antic titles in a user account. The Ni antic ID acts as your cross-index user account. Your username in Pokémon Go and Co. do not change through the Ni antic ID.

Niantic is Shutting Down Their Game Existing and future usernames are linked to the Ni antic ID. Friends can search for you based on the Ni antic ID. Your profile and your friends list are synchronized with the Ni antic ID, so you do not have a new friends list in other Ni antic games.

If you already want to make sure that your own username as a Ni antic ID will be available or preserved, can reserve this alias as a Ni antic ID on the associated official website. This is currently working but only existing usernames, for example your coach name from Pokémon Go. So you can currently not reserve any IDS.

The reservation of existing usernames as a Ni antic ID runs until November 26, 2021. When a reservation of other usernames will be possible or when the Ni antic ID is starting, the company has not yet been announced. But we will definitely keep you up to date.
