Ghost of Tsushima: Legends becomes an autonomous game - News - Director Cut

Released last October, Ghost of Tsushima: Legends , the multiplayer mode of the Adventure game of Sucker Punch, grows and gets an standalone output in good and due form. It will therefore be possible to acquire it separately from GHOST OF TSUSHIMA from August 20, the same day as the exit in version Director's Cut of the latter.

It is in a statement published on the PlayStation Blog that Sucker Punch announces the news. GHOST OF TSUSHIMA: LEGENDS becomes a full game and will receive a new mode of play from September 3rd. The studio specifies that despite this passage in standalone, this update will be free for players with the game of origin, and will remain decorreled of any purchase regarding Ghost of Tsushima: Director's Cut .

This new fashion, entitled "Rivals", will compete two teams of two players who will face waves of enemies on an unprecedented card. Each overwhelmed opponent will give the duet of points, named "magatama", which will block the purchases of improvements from the rival team. A step necessary to unlock the final wave and hope to triumph before its competitors.

For new players, Ghost of Tsushima: Legends will be available on August 20 for € 19.99 on PS4 and PS5. Multiplayer services will operate in Cross-Play between this stand-alone version and its original version. The content will also be identical, with the exception of some unlockable cosmetic parts only in the solo campaign. To celebrate the arrival of rival mode, novelties will also be added weekly until October 1st.
